REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants who have been accepted to ESM Bourgogne-Franche-Comté must register with both the ESM and the University of Burgundy if they do not have a bachelor's degree in music.
In this regard, accepted students will receive two application forms at the end of July that need to be filled out and returned to the ESM administration. The date and time of registration will be communicated by the ESM.
There is a registration fee of 420 euros for the 2017/2018 academic year. This is a one-time fee valid for both ESM and University of Burgundy registration. These fees are payable to the ESM Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.
Students enrolled at ESM are covered by student healthcare and must pay the compulsory healthcare coverage payment (price is subject to change; cost for the 2016/2017 academic year: 215 euros). Students with grants or scholarships are exempt from this payment.
Students requesting to be exempt from student healthcare must provide the necessary documents at registration showing they are already covered by another health insurance plan.
It is recommended to take out a complementary health insurance plan. Brochures for complementary health insurance plans for students (LMDE and SMEREB) are available at registration.
The ESM Bourgogne-Franche-Comté requests its students to take out a civil responsibility and personal accident insurance policy and to provide this proof of insurance at registration.
