ESM's academic programs offer students three different university diplomas (bachelor degree or bac +3): the "diplôme national supérieur professionnel de musicien" (DNSPM), which validates the artistic and technical skills of the musician; the instrumental and vocal teacher's diploma (DE - diplôme d’Etat de professeur de musique), which is a degree for music education that is recognized by the State; and a bachelor of arts in music with a concentration in specialized music performance, which is a university degree. The first two are certifications accredited by the Department of Culture and Communications (Ministère de la Culture et de la Communication) and issued by ESM. The third degree is accredited by the Department of National Education, Research and Higher Education and issued by the University of Burgundy, which is a partner of the ESM.
